Step-by-Step Troubleshooting
POS / Card Reader Not Connecting
- Restart the POS and card reader.
- Ensure devices are connected to the “Brewsy-Network” WiFi (not guest).
- Move the card reader closer to the router.
- Check router lights — if the “Internet” light is red, proceed to router reset.
Router Reset
- Locate the router (usually in back office).
- Switch off at the power socket.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Switch back on and wait up to 5 minutes for full reboot.
- Reconnect devices to WiFi.
Guest WiFi Not Working
- Confirm the guest WiFi network (“Brewsy-Guest”) is visible.
- Restart router if hidden.
- Check Guest WiFi portal is loading on customer devices.
- If persistent, log issue in Franchise Portal under IT Support.
Slow Internet Speeds
- Disconnect any non-essential devices (staff personal devices should not use café WiFi).
- Check for large downloads/updates on POS tablets and pause them.
- If still slow, perform a router reset.
